Reservations at the Steam Train Hotel

You have a few options for booking your room:

• You can book directly with us. In general, this will ensure you get the best rates and room options. Just call or text us at 719-298-8908. Or, email us. However, if you call, we can help you pick the perfect guest room! So, pick up that phone and call our friendly staff for recommendations on the best room for you. 719-298-8908.
• You are also welcome to book through a third-party booking site like Expedia if you prefer. But why? Just call us! We'll make sure you get the best available room at the best available price.
• If you choose to go to a third-party room reservation site and it looks like we are full, please call to see if any rooms have opened up. Sometimes that happens. You'll never know if you don't call.
• During train season, if you are riding the Cumbres & Toltec to Chama and back, we can make sure you get out the door in time to load the train at your leisure.
• Coffee is available in all rooms.

Our historic hotel offers a number of great room options. We even have a room that reputedly has a ghost! Don't worry if ghosts aren't your thing; we offer ghost-free rooms as well. But, if that's the case, don't go near the elevator shaft.
